Description
Construction SuperintendantPCI Infrastructure is currently accepting applications for a construction superintendent to support federal government construction/repair contracts on Davis-Monthan and Luke AFBs. Experience working with government representatives at these locations is required. The on-site leader is responsible for estimating and developing projects, daily execution of the projects, ensuring work adheres to strict federal safety, quality, and scheduling standards.
This position is onsite and reports to the Program Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Site Oversight: Utilize site-specific knowledge, experience and relationship building to secure operational construction related projects.
- Site Oversight: Manage daily operations, including supervising subcontractors and self-performed labor to ensure compliance with project blueprints and government specifications.
- Business Development and Pricing: Work with corporate pricing staff to establish subcontractor and in-house costs to develop competitive proposals.
- Quality Control Coordination: Implement the Three-Phase Control System (Preparatory, Initial, and Follow-up inspections) for all major work activities.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed daily logs, track project milestones, and assist with Requests for Information (RFIs) and submittals through government and company-based reporting software.
- Stakeholder Liaison: Act as the primary field contact for the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) and other government facility personnel.
Qualifications
- Experience: A minimum of 510 years in construction, with at least 13 years working on Davis-Monthan is required.
- Certifications: Preferred certifications include OSHA 30, EM 385-1-1 (40-hour), and ACE CQM-C.
- Education: A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field experience is preferred.
- Security Clearance: Must have and maintain an active DoD Secret Clearance.
