N8 Excavation is a professional full-service commercial construction contractor located in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. We provide civil works for all types of projects of various sizes. Our goal is to always provide solutions to every problem. At N8 Excavation success is measured by the difference we make in people’s lives both professional and personally.
Company History
An excavation company with a strong belief in their mission statement; “Delivering successful projects, through great people, making a positive impact.” Some just call us ditch diggers, but we see our industry as so much more! Our work requires unique techniques, tools and machinery to get the job done right. It takes skill, knowledge and determination. What sets us apart from everyone else is the culture we have developed. The original founder Nate Holmlund and Vice President Blake Turin set a goal to see their employees succeed.
“If they succeed, we will succeed.” Blake and Nate have created a culture that lifts each team member to their highest and greatest potential. Our team is made up of many strengths and a lot of experience. The proof is in our relationships with our customers, vendors and our community.
N8 Excavation, like most businesses, has a humble beginning as a one-man owner operator business. Nate Holmlund founded the company nearly a decade ago during one of the worst economic crises this country has ever experienced. The 2007-2008 recession was a challenging time for construction, however; focus, determination, and solid management guided us through our early years and continue to guide us today.
Nate had a realization that with only so many hours in a day it was difficult to balance work and family. It was time to expand the business. In 2014 Nate hired Blake Turin to manage operations and from that day forward a vision of what they wanted to accomplish began to develop. In 2018 Blake became a partner. From that point forward they were both all in and had no stronger desire but to succeed. Today their families are well, their friendships are unbreakable and business is trending just as they had dreamed for.
