Midland Memorial Hospital, the only non-for-profit hospital in Midland County, Texas was established by prominent community leaders with one mission: “to make quality healthcare available to all residents of Midland County”
Midland Memorial Hospital provides state-of-the-art technology with a compassionate caring environment to provide the highest level of care possible. Our acute care facility provides medical resources for the warm friendly Community of Midland, as well as the surrounding regions.

Company History

Midland Memorial Hospital was built with funds donated by individuals, corporations and foundations as a nonprofit, community-based hospital, offering medical care to all Midlanders. The hospital opened its doors on July 11, 1950, as a community owned, 75-bed hospital, serving the nearly 22,000 people who resided in Midland County. The hospital was staffed with 78 employees and 26 physicians.
Currently, our hospital has changed dramatically to meet the needs of a dynamic community. Midland Memorial Hospital has undergone numerous physical expansions and introduced many innovative programs such as Heart Institute and various rehabilitation programs. Additional campuses offer supplementary programs and services including treatments for cancer, Allison Cancer Center, women’s and children’s health care services and the various outpatient programs offered.
