Company History
When Charles Abbott started the company in September of 1984, his vision was to build a company where some very talented people could be given the support and resources needed to excel in their profession. He wanted this company to provide government agencies an alternative means of delivering services to their constituents. In essence, he wanted to create a very highly trained and efficient team of professionals to better serve local governmental agencies. It may have never been the intent for CAA to be the largest firm… but it was always the intent that we would be the best!
Charley was successful in his quest to build a great team of professionals. It was this small company he started with a contract working for the City of Rancho Palos Verdes, California that has now grown into an organization serving more than 50 public agencies. Our team of professionals now stretches across the continental United States. We are very proud that this very first client, Rancho Palos Verdes, has remained our client continuously since 1984.
