Our Company

Pennichuck Corporation is engaged primarily in the collection, storage, treatment, distribution and sale of potable water in southern and central New Hampshire. We have two business segments: regulated water utility operations and non-regulated water management services. Our Distribution center is located in Merrimack, New Hampshire.

Construction Technician

In this hands-on field position, you would be responsible for performing a wide variety of duties including the construction and maintenance duties related to installation, repair, and maintenance of water mains, services, hydrants and other related appurtenances.

The work schedule for this position in Monday – Friday from 7 am to 3 pm. Seasonal overtime is anticipated.

Requirements

Licensure and educational requirements include
o    NH Distribution Operator Certification Level 1 or the ability to obtain this within one year.
o    Valid State Driver’s License in good standing and the ability to obtain a CDL-B license within one year.
To be successful in this position, you must have:
•    Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
•    Demonstrated mechanical aptitude with the ability to work independently from plans and specifications.
•    Willingness to work both outside and inside with the capability of sometimes working in difficult conditions.
•    Ability to work overtime and respond promptly to off-hour emergency requests as needed.
•    Ability to use timekeeping and Mobile Client software.
