Summer Internship – Construction Management
Lakeside Engineers is seeking motivated high school students interested in transportation engineering and highway construction to join our team as Summer Interns. This position provides hands-on exposure to transportation improvement projects and introduces students to how roadway projects are planned, designed, and constructed in accordance with state standards and specifications. Interns may assist with field observations, construction inspection support, documentation, measurements, and basic data collection while working alongside experienced engineers and construction staff. This internship is ideal for students interested in STEM careers who want to learn how safe, efficient, and reliable transportation systems are delivered and maintained for the traveling public.

 Job Requirements:

This position will work under the direct supervision of engineering/construction staff and perform routine construction support tasks. Responsibilities may include:

Assist with construction observation for transportation projects
Assist with design, analysis, quantity take-offs and project documentation, plan preparation, report writing and research
