Under general supervision, assists in the planning and coordination of capital projects.. Uses reporting tools to monitor the capital workflow process and vendor procurement renewals. Performs moderately complex analytical, technical, and administrative assignments related to the planning and development of department desktop applications. Assists experienced level staff with systems development through all phases of the systems life cycle.. Designs and implements quality computer applications for operational efficiency and enhanced controls. Provides technical support to departmental end users. May assist with training less experienced analysts. Provides analytical and planning assistance to accomplish department, Bank, and System objectives. Ensures all applications are in compliance with information security policies and procedures. Provides appropriate training for end users in Facilities.

Job Description
  • Assists Project Manager in providing leadership in the planning, procurement, control, implementation, execution, communication and completion of capital and expense related facilities projects.
  • Supports project budget, accounting, and cost management for multiple simultaneous projects.
  • Assist with maintaining project documents as requested, including (but not limited to): meeting minutes, schedules, risk logs, decision logs, material tracking logs, and communications plans.
  • Attends and participates in meetings with Architects, Engineers, and Contractors.
  • Verifies materials are delivered and installed in accordance with design documents and approved submittals.
  • Ensures project as-built documentation is complete, accurate, and properly distributed.
  • Coordinates project-related requests and provides weekly status updates to Information Technology Services (ITS) Law Enforcement, Procurement, Financial Management Services, and Audit.
  • Support training efforts, proper structure of shared drive folders, transition of documents from project folders to building systems folders, completion of punch list items, receipt of lien releases, and other related tasks.
  • Assists Facilities staff in using department PC's and resolving routine computer-related problems.
  • Creates work scopes for service providers and evaluates bid proposals for completeness and accuracy.
  • Makes recommendations for awarding purchase orders.
  • Documents and reports on project monitoring.
  • Presents status, analysis results, and other information to a variety of audiences.
  • Participates in Federal Reserve System documentation initiatives.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • Fulfills job duties and responsibilities in conformance with sound safety practices.

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years coordinating project management activities is preferred, including participation in procurement analysis, project planning, and project communication.
  • Certifications such as PMP are beneficial but not required.


Knowledge and Skills:
  • Strong PC software skills in Microsoft Office products, as well as ability to learn new software as required.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated problem solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Detail-oriented to ensure accuracy and completeness of work assignments.
  • Ability to work independently and with others including internal groups, end users, and outside vendors.

  • Because this job is considered a safety sensitive position, following a conditional offer of employment, a drug screen for all controlled substances prohibited by federal law, including marijuana, will be required.


Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to lift storage boxes of paper or supplies up to 25 lbs. and transport materials to other areas of department and Bank.
  • Ability to push/move carts, boxes, or storage trucks.
  • Able to transport, set up and operate audiovisual, video, and other training equipment.
  • Must be able to climb 12 ft ladders and access confined spaces for investigations.
