Key Qualifications:
• Experience in heavy/highway construction required; drilling experience preferred.
• Experience operating excavators, grout plants, loaders, and attachments; ability to troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance. Welding experience preferred.

Health & Safety Requirements (Top Priority):
• At least 18 years old.
• OSHA 10 required; OSHA 30 preferred.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to perform tasks requiring coordination, motor skills, and dexterity.
• Has their own reliable transportation to job sites awithin a 5-hour radius of Jefferson County, NY; ability to travel and stay out of town during the work week.
• Physically capable of performing essential heavy construction duties safely, including:
o Frequently lifting heavy objects (>100 lbs).
o Using hand and power tools.
o Climbing on and off heavy equipment.
o Exposure to loud noise, hazardous machinery, voltages, and respiratory irritants.
o Prolonged standing, walking, climbing, squatting, bending, and stretching.
o Working indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
o Moving heavy materials and equipment.
o Maintaining balance on uneven or muddy surfaces.

Requirements & Expectations:
• Arrive ready to work before shift starts, with all required food, clothing, PPE, and supplies. Reliable attendance is required.
• Willing to perform any task needed to complete the job with a positive attitude. Operators must assist with labor tasks; all employees must support shop work between jobs (cleaning, organizing, maintenance, loading trucks, etc.).
• Basic ability to complete reports, communicate via email, and complete safety training.
• Willingness and ability to learn specialized equipment with training and support.
• Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and commitment to continuous improvement and teamwork.
• Ability to receive feedback professionally and remain focused, alert, and aware on the job. Personal cell phone use during work hours is prohibited. Sharing project information or photos on social media is prohibited.
